Day 1: Arrive Bagdogra Airport – Phuentsholing (4 Hrs drive)

• Arrival at Bagdogra Airport: Assistance upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing.
• Check-in: Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu (6 Hrs drive)

• Permit Process: After taking the permit from the Phuentsholing Border, proceed to Thimphu.
• Check-in: Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
• Evening Visit: Visit the Tashichho Dzong.
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing

• Full Day Sightseeing:
  • Memorial Chorten
  • National Library
  • School of Art and Crafts
  • Textile & Folk Heritage Museum
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Thimphu.

Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha (4,300 ft.) (80 Kms | 3 Hrs drive)

• Drive to Punakha/Wangdue: After breakfast, drive to Punakha/Wangdue via Dochu-La-Pass (10,170 ft.).
• Sightseeing:
  • Chimi Lhakhang – The Temple of Fertility built in the 15th century
  • Punakha Dzong
• Check-in: Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
• Evening: Free at leisure.
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Punakha.

Day 5: Punakha – Paro (140 Kms | 5 Hrs)

• Drive to Paro: After breakfast, drive to Paro.
• Sightseeing:
  • Ta Dzong – National Museum
  • Rinpung Dzong
  • Kichu Lhakhang – the oldest temple in the country
  • Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort)
  • Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain
• Evening: Free at leisure.
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Paro.

Day 6: Excursion Trip to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)

• Morning Excursion: After breakfast, proceed to:
  • Drukgyal Dzong – a fortress and Buddhist monastery
  • Kyichu Lhakhang – an important Himalayan Buddhist temple
  • Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest): Enjoy the stunning view of the scenic surroundings and the valley underneath. The trek to Tiger’s Nest takes about 3 hours, but a horse ride from the parking lot is also an option.
• Return: Back to the hotel.
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Paro.

Day 7: Paro – Phuentsholing (6 Hrs drive)

• Drive to Phuentsholing: After breakfast, drive to Phuentsholing.
• Check-in: Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
• Overnight Stay: Night halt will be at Phuentsholing.

Day 8: Phuentsholing – Bagdogra Airport (4 Hrs drive)

• Departure: Check out from the hotel in the morning and transfer to Bagdogra Airport for the flight to your onward destination.
